HOBART is committed to meeting customer requirements. For this purpose, HOBART teamed up with the "Tech Center" of its US parent company ITW to pursue intensive basic research. A number of studies have been completed, focussing on issues such as the optimum size of water droplets for best dishwashing performance and the most effective measures to reduce energy loss.
Based on the results of the interdisciplinary basic research and the readiness of the company to question its own perceptions, HOBART has developed new technologies that save up to 60% of water, 40% of energy and 80% of chemicals.
The company’s research and development activities resulted in over 100 patent applications, many of which have already been granted.
Considering the great number of innovations, HOBART decided to introduce a second product range, which is much more economical, environmentally friendly and innovative than conventional dishwasher models.
